The Chinese Society for Metals (CSM) was established in November 26, 1956. It is an industry organization in the area of metallurgy and material in China and is one of the members of the China Association for Science and Technology (CAST). CSM is a national, academic and non-profit society. It is a link between scientists and technicians and contributes to the flourish and development of metallurgy and material science and technology in China.
