Matt Pomery is a Principal Global Geospatial professional at BHP, based in Perth, Western Australia. He focuses on how technology, people, and systems come together - from upstream resource decisions through to operations, investment, and environmental outcomes. Matt is particularly interested in turning geospatial data into practical tools that reduce risk, enable automation, and scale productivity.
He also leads BHP’s Global Geospatial Community of Practice, supporting collaboration across industry, technology partners, and disciplines to deliver shared value across the mining value chain.
