Juleen is an experienced leader in the mining and energy sectors with more than 25 years’ experience spanning mining engineering, environmental management, approvals, social performance and sustainability strategy.

She holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Mining) and a Master of Environmental Management and is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. Her career spans operational, corporate and consulting roles across Australia and the Asia-Pacific region.

In her most recent role at BHP, Juleen led global assurance of climate, environmental and sustainability standards and governed BHP’s Social Value Framework and sustainability goals.

Juleen has been actively involved with AusIMM for over 25 years, holding a range of leadership roles across societies and conference committees, and is currently serving her second term as a Director on the AusIMM Board.
