Jodie Currie
Jodie Currie is a pioneering force in the mining and resources sector, renowned for her leadership in amplifying regional voices and creating strategic connections. In 2010, she founded the Bowen Basin Mining Club (BBMC) to foster collaboration among mining suppliers and producers.
Under her guidance, BBMC has flourished over the past 15 years: expanding to the Hunter region, launching the BBMC Crib Room Podcast, and establishing the Queensland Mining Awards and BBMC Yearbook, all aimed at strengthening industry connections and celebrating excellence.
As co-founder of Strategic Mining Communications, Jodie continues to shape the sector’s narrative, advocating for engagement, inclusion, and resilience across Australia’s resources landscape.
