Jason Pearce is the Senior Director of Service & Support for the APAC region of Hexagon's mining division, a role he has excelled in due to his extensive 25+ years of experience in delivering systems, software engineering, and professional services. His expertise primarily spans across the mining, mineral processing, oil and gas, and power generation industries.

Jason's career began in Alberta, Canada, before he moved to Western Australia in 1999. There, he first worked at a Nickel & Cobalt mine and processing plant, managing IT & OT systems across the operation. His journey led him to a technology consulting company that provided innovative software solutions to the global mining industry, which was later acquired by Gemcom Software (now GEOVIA). At Gemcom, he led the InSite professional services team before exploring opportunities at IBM and then Snowden Mining Industry Consultants.

Jason's leadership skills, coupled with his strong technical background in IT infrastructure and MES solutions, have been instrumental in his success. He is adept at integrating and working with various systems, including SCADA/process control, historians, fleet management, lab, metallurgical accounting, general mine planning, safety & environment systems. His most recent experience involves running a multi-disciplined team with offices based in Kazakhstan, Indonesia and Australia delivering and supporting innovative mining technology solutions.
