Dr Stephanie Black
Dr Stephanie Black leads Australian Resources & Energy Employer Association’s expanding national programs across workforce wellbeing, diversity and inclusion, people and culture, and artificial intelligence. She manages four industry advisory boards and working groups that bring together leaders from across Australia’s resources and energy sector to address workforce challenges and opportunities.
Stephanie also leads AREEA’s A New Horizon Thought Leadership Series, exploring major workforce trends including demographics, leadership, workforce megatrends and the future impact of AI. Earlier in her career she worked as a geophysicist and managed geophysics, IT and QHSE projects, including award-recognised workplace wellbeing initiatives.
She holds qualifications in psychology, physics, management and work health and safety, including a PhD from University of Western Australia, and contributes to professional discussions on AI and workforce impacts through several national professional bodies.
