Alex Logan is General Manager of Market Development for Lynas Rare Earths 2025. Prior to his appointment to this role in July 2025, Alex was Project Director for the Mt Weld Expansion project, responsible for the successful delivery of this $570m project as part of the company’s Lynas 2025 growth initiative.
Alex joined Lynas Rare Earths in 2012 and has held a range of leadership, technical and operational roles within the business.
As Project Director for the Mt Weld expansion project, Alex was responsible from design through to construction and commissioning.
Alex has a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and Extractive Metallurgy from Curtin University’s WA School of Mines and a Masters in Mineral Economics from Curtin University.
