Introducing the 2026 GRX Industry Awards
The GRX Industry Awards celebrate excellence, innovation, and leadership across the resources and mining sectors. Recognising organisations and individuals driving meaningful impact, these prestigious awards highlight individuals and organisations leading the way in the resources industry, celebrating innovation, impactful solutions, and success.
This year we're excited to share there are now six award categories. The GRX Industry Awards have evolved to include an exciting new category, Women in STEM and Resources Impact Award, recognising women who are creating meaningful impact through innovation, leadership, or advocacy across the resources sector.
Categories for the 2026 GRX Industry Awards can be viewed below. We invite you to submit a nomination to recognise individuals and organisations making a lasting impact across our industry.

Craig Senger Excellence in Export Award
The Craig Senger Excellence in Export Award recognises outstanding performance, innovation, and impact in developing and sustaining international markets. The award celebrates both established and emerging exporters that demonstrate strategic thinking, resilience, and measurable outcomes relative to their scale and stage of export development.

Outstanding Innovative METS Company Award
The Outstanding Innovative METS Company Award recognises a METS organisation that has delivered exceptional innovation with measurable impact across the mining industry. This award celebrates companies that demonstrate originality, practical application, and meaningful contribution to the advancement of the METS sector and the broader mining value chain, both in Australia and internationally.

Excellence in Resources by a New Professional Award
The Excellence in Resources by a New Professional Award is open to professionals within the first five years of their resources career.
This Award will be presented to a new professional in the mining or METS sector who has delivered an initiative, project or innovation that is making a meaningful and positive impact in their organisation, their community or the broader resources sector.
The Award is open for self-nomination or nomination by an employer, colleague, or mentor. The top four applicants will be selected as finalists and receive a pass to attend the GRX Industry Awards Dinner.
Women in STEM and Resources Impact Award
The Women in STEM and Resources Impact Award is open to women at any career stage studying or working in STEM.
The Award will be presented to the woman who best demonstrates a meaningful impact through innovation, leadership, or advocacy, creating positive outcomes for their organisation, community, or the broader resources sector.
Exceptional Innovation in Mining Award
The Exceptional Innovation in Mining Award recognises outstanding innovation that delivers measurable impact within the mining industry. It is open to mining organisations or collaborative partnerships between mining companies and METS organisations that demonstrate how innovation drives meaningful change in operational performance, sustainability, productivity, or safety.

Champion of Innovation Award
The Champion of Innovation Award recognises an individual who has made a transformative and sustained contribution to innovation within the mining and METS sector. This award celebrates those who have demonstrated original thinking, measurable impact, and influence across organisations, regions, or international markets.
