Trailblazers, innovators and emerging leaders announced as GRX26 Industry Awards finalists
The finalists for the GRX26 Industry Awards have been revealed, recognising the trailblazers, innovators and emerging leaders who are pushing Australia’s mining and METS sector forward.
Hosted by Austmine and AusIMM, the GRX Industry Awards Dinner in Perth on 6 May will be a major highlight of the Global Resources Innovation Expo (GRX26, 5-7 May). The dinner will bring together senior executives, METS innovators, new professionals and international delegates to celebrate the people and companies driving real change across the industry.
Austmine CEO Tony Davis said the GRX Industry Awards are one of the most important moments in the GRX26 program — a chance to stop, look around the room, recognise and applaud the people who are genuinely moving the industry needle. "What strikes me about this year's finalists is their boldness," Mr Davis said. "Whether you're a trailblazer rewriting the rules, an innovator turning bold ideas into real-world outcomes, or an emerging leader who isn't waiting for permission — they all belong on this stage. "Our industry's future doesn't build itself. It's built by people exactly like the finalists. Australia is watching, and so is the world."
AusIMM CEO Stephen Durkin said: “We are delighted to recognise this year’s finalists – trailblazers who are making a meaningful difference across our industry and communities. As the peak body for resources professionals, we are particularly proud to recognise our Women in STEM and New Professional finalists who embody the leadership, innovative thinking and ambition our industry needs to succeed on the global stage.”
Finalists have been announced across six award categories spanning innovation, exports, professional achievement and industry leadership.
