At GRX25, the Accenture Innovation Zone showcased what is possible when bold ideas meet industry challenges. Twenty-four exhibitors demonstrated an exciting and diverse portfolio of innovative solutions addressing key challenges across the mining value chain. Solutions included:

  • AI-powered platforms delivering environmental intelligence and on-demand knowledge.

  • Next-generation automation tools designed to boost safety and productivity.

  • Advanced sensing systems providing real-time operational visibility.

  • Decarbonisation and emissions-reduction technologies such as simulation models, electrification planning tools, and low-impact extraction methods.

A highlight of the Zone was the Accenture Innovation Competition, celebrating practical and disruptive ideas. The 2025 winner, Stimulá Strategic Consulting, was recognised for Filtris — an AI-based solution using eye scanning to detect fatigue and cognitive impairment, a breakthrough in workplace safety.

The Accenture Innovation Zone proved to be more than an exhibition space, it was a collaboration hub, where innovators, investors and delegates exchanged ideas, expanded networks, and discovered safer, smarter and sustainable solutions to industry challenges.

When GRX26 comes to Perth in May 2026, expect the Innovation Zone to be an even bigger showcase of innovative solutions and prototypes that address the Zone’s criteria of industry relevance, technical innovation, practical applicability, business and environmental value, usability and execution.  To stay informed, express your interest at grx.au
